DIMAPUR — The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Special State Office, Dimapur, conducted a district outreach programme under the "Nidhi Aapke Nikat" initiative at the conference hall of Patkai Christian College, Chümoukedima, on Monday.


According to an update, it was attended by employers, employees, and other stakeholders.


During the programme, Samuel Das, Regional PF Commissioner-II, along with other team officials, namely Kallal Bhattacharjee, Enforcement Officer, and T Livi, SSA, gave a presentation on the provisions, benefits, rights, and privileges of social security available under the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Act, 1952, and the schemes framed thereunder.


Doubts raised by employers, employees, and other stakeholders were clarified. The programme included a help desk of EPFO, which resolved various issues raised by members.


The programme was also attended by Dr. Thepfuvilie Pieru, principal, and Neichuvotuo Kiso, accounts officer, Patkai Christian College.

Under the Prayas initiative, a pension payment order was handed over to Suwalemla Ao, an employee of Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited, who retired on July 15.


EPFO will conduct such awareness programmes in other districts of Nagaland as well. Employers and employees have been called upon to visit the EPFO Dimapur office at 1st and 2nd Floor, 218, United Colony, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur (Monday to Friday: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm) for issues related to EPF matters.
