DIMAPUR — A one-day training programme on Goods and Services Tax (GST) for drawing and disbursing officers (DDOs), dealers, and other stakeholders will be held on August 5 at the training centre, Office of the Commissioner of State Taxes, Lengrijan, Dimapur.
According to an update, the training will cover key topics including DDOs and dealer registration, Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) registration and filing of returns, payment, refund, offences, and input tax credit.
The sessions will be conducted by state GST officials, the IT cell, and dealing assistants. Open house sessions will also be held to address queries from participants.
The Commissioner of State Taxes, Abhinav Shivam, has informed that similar GST training programmes will be conducted across zonal and ward offices during the month of August.
