DIMAPUR — Assam Rifles organised a motivational lecture and interactive programme in Peren district on July 11, aimed at fostering positive engagement with the local population and key stakeholders.
According to a Defence release, the initiative sought to chart a comprehensive roadmap for improved and sustainable development in the region, with a focus on infrastructure, agriculture, medical facilities and child education.
The event drew active participation from youth, farmers, community leaders and healthcare workers, reflecting the community’s collective commitment to progress. “The session began with an inspiring address that underscored the importance of collective effort, self-reliance and vision-driven planning as the foundation for long-term development,” it stated.
Speakers emphasised the need to empower local communities to take ownership of their growth by making effective use of available resources.
