Metha also added that Neiphiu Rio asked him to urge the people of Pughoboto to make Y Vikheho Swu win with a big margin and acknowledged Pughoboto for contributing its best sons and daughters in the journey of Nagaland, be it in the Naga political movement, civil society or others.

Comparing Vikheho Swu with his opponent, Metha asked the people if they are going to elect a person in his prime or a person past his prime.

Further, Metha also stated that Pughoboto should be made a model township, which can happen only through Vikheho Swu.
‘The 40:20 seat-sharing means that the NDPP and BJP will form the next government and that Neiphiu Rio will be the CM in the next government,’ he added.
Meanwhile, also speaking during the event, incumbent MLA from the 13 Pughoboto AC, Y Vikheho Swu also stated that in the 13th general election, the AC was allotted to the BJP but respecting the NDPP-BJP pre-poll alliance, an NDPP ticket was allotted this time, and expressed his gratitude to the BJP and the NDPP.
