DIMAPUR — A two- day SIRD state level workshop on PAI 2.0 version and thematic GPDP, in collaboration with MoPR & NIC, New Delhi, commenced at SIRD, Kohima, on Thursday.
In his inaugural address, Commissioner & Secretary, RD& SIRD, Thavaseelan K, underscored the critical importance of implementing Thematic Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) and launching of Panchayat Advancement Index (PAI) Version 2.0 across the state.
He emphasised that the successful rollout of these initiatives would enable structured, inclusive village development aligned with the Local Sustainable Development Goals (LSDGs).

Thavaseelan also urged full utilisation of the eGram Swaraj portal to strengthen transparency and streamline financial governance.
Director of SIRD, Vesato, delivered the welcome address, while a course briefing was given by Project Manager NIC, New Delhi, Yogesh Kumar. Officials from SPMU, DPMU, RD and SIRD attended the inaugural workshop.
