Worker found dead in Diphupar property

DIMAPUR — A non-local man was found hanging from a tree on private property at F-Khel, Diphupar, Chümoukedima, on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Sujit, a member of the Nepali community, aged between 50 and 55, who worked as a daily wage earner and resided at 5th Mile.

Reports stated that Sujit had gone to the location to cut grass in exchange for payment. His body was discovered by a passerby around 10 am, hanging from a tree with a scarf.

The body has been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
