Wokha held a district advisory committee meeting on My Bharat Youth Registration, highlighting youth participation, portal registration and opportunities for young people.

DIMAPUR — The district advisory committee meeting on My Bharat Youth registration was held at the deputy commissioner’s conference hall, Wokha, on August 20 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner K Mhathung Tsanglao.
Addressing the meeting, Tsanglao stressed the need for effective coordination among various line departments to ensure the successful implementation of activities under the programme, a DIPR report stated.
Emphasising the pivotal role of youth in nation building, the deputy commissioner described young people as pillars capable of taking the country to greater heights.
District Youth Officer, Wokha, Pradeep J, delivered a presentation on Mera Yuva Bharat (My Bharat), outlining its institutional hierarchy, implementation arms, and the functions of the district advisory committee and district samanvay committee.

He also highlighted the core roles of My Bharat, including constructive engagement, youth-led dissemination and youth-led decision-making.
The presentation further covered the features of the My Bharat portal and demonstrated the registration process.
Various opportunities, programmes and benefits available through the platform were also explained to encourage greater youth participation.
My Bharat, the official youth engagement platform of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, aims to build a nationwide community of young change-makers by providing opportunities for youth to participate in events, volunteer, explore opportunities and contribute to nation building.
