A community library named Wisdom Stop was dedicated at Tetheyu village in Kiphire district to promote a reading culture.

DIMAPUR — A library dedication ceremony for “Wisdom Stop” was held at Tetheyu village in Kiphire district on Saturday.
According to an update, the community library was initiated by Apiba A in partnership with Longtili C with the aim of promoting a culture of reading, providing resources for aspirants, and beautifying the village.
The programme was chaired by Tsiphu, youth pastor. During the event, short speeches were delivered by Longtili, founder of Akehda Amulung, and Tethsolen, Chairman of Tethuyo Village Council.
In his speech, Longtili expressed happiness in being part of Apiba’s dream. He said that though the library is small, it will serve a big purpose. He appreciated the community spirit of Tetheyu village and encouraged them to continue the same. He also assured his continued support and investment for the growth of the library.

He added that the opening of Wisdom Stop marks a new beginning where young minds will grow and knowledge will guide the future.
Though Apiba A could not attend the programme, his message was shared. He stated that the main purpose of starting the library is to create a reading culture, support aspirants with books, and contribute to the beautification of the village.
He thanked all donors for their support and expressed gratitude to his father for helping construct the building. He explained that “Wisdom Stop” means a “Place of Wisdom” (Lumlong).
Tethsolen said that “the pen always wins the world” and appreciated the contribution of Longtili towards the village. He thanked Apiba A for initiating the project and expressed hope that the library will serve future generations.
