Tseminyu DPDB and Longkhim SDPDB approved the proposed LADP 2026–27 schemes.

DIMAPUR — The monthly meeting of the Tseminyu District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) was held at the Deputy Commissioner's conference hall on July 17 under the chairmanship of DPDB Chairman and MLA Jwenga Seb.
According to a DIPR report, the chairman thanked the board members for their cooperation and support in implementing developmental activities across the district.
After confirming the minutes of the previous meeting, the board deliberated on a proposal submitted by Superintendent of Police, Tseminyu, Talisunep Imchen, seeking an upgrade in the police strength under the District Executive Force (DEF), Tseminyu.
The SP informed the board that, as a newly created district, Tseminyu requires additional male and female police personnel to ensure the smooth functioning of law enforcement and administrative duties.
Following the discussion, the board approved the proposal and resolved to forward it to the government for necessary action.
The chairman also presented the proposed schemes and projects under the Local Area Development Programme (LADP) 2026–27. After deliberation, the board approved the proposals.

The meeting also featured a PowerPoint presentation by the Rural Development Department highlighting its ongoing activities and programmes.
Longkhim SDPDB clears LADP plans
The Longkhim Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) meeting was held at the DUDA Hall, Longkhim, on July 17 under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman, SDPDB, Anoka H Assumi.
As per a DIPR report, the chairman welcomed the members and reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting.
Following detailed deliberations, the board unanimously approved the proposed schemes under the Local Area Development Programme (LADP) 2026–27 and decided to forward them to the government for final approval.
Briefing the members on the ongoing Census exercise in the state, Assumi said the Census is crucial for compiling demographic data and urged all government employees to register at their respective places of posting.
He also informed the members that attendance across government departments would be monitored strictly and urged officials to remain present in their respective offices, discharge their duties diligently, and serve the public effectively.
