DIMAPUR — Kohima district administration has issued a traffic advisory imposing one-way regulation and parking restrictions in parts of the capital in view of the ongoing protest organised by the Nagaland Government Teachers’ Association (NGTA 2010 & 2013) at the Directorate of School Education, Bayavu.
According to the advisory, one-way traffic will be enforced with vehicles allowed entry from Census Point Junction via Central Baptist Church Junction to NBCC Office/Hotel Legacy, and exit through the approach road to High School Junction.
A no-parking zone has been imposed from Census Point Junction to Central Baptist Church Junction between 9 am and 4 pm.

The advisory further stated that vehicles parked indiscriminately will be towed at the expense of the owner, and district authorities will not be responsible for any damages caused during towing.
Participants of the protest have been advised to carpool or use public transport to ease traffic congestion in the area. The general public has been requested to bear the inconvenience caused due to the temporary measures.
