Traffic curbs have been imposed around Bayavü in Kohima as the Nagaland Government Teachers' Association stages a protest at the Directorate of School Education.

DIMAPUR — The Kohima district administration on Sunday issued a traffic advisory in view of a protest being organised by Nagaland Government Teachers' Association (NGTA 2010 & 2013) at the Directorate of School Education in Bayavü, Kohima.
According to the advisory, one-way traffic regulation will be enforced in the affected stretch. Vehicles will be allowed entry from Census Point junction via Central Baptist Church junction to NBCC office/Hotel Legacy, while exit will be permitted through the approach road to High School junction.

Traffic restrictions imposed in Kohima amid NGTA protest
The administration has also imposed a no-parking zone from Census Point junction to Central Baptist Church junction between 9 am and 3 pm.
Participants of the protest have been directed not to bring personal vehicles to the venue to avoid congestion.
The general public has been requested to cooperate and bear the inconvenience caused due to the temporary traffic arrangements.
