DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Government Teachers’ Association (NGTA), representing the 2010 and 2013 batches of mainstreamed SSA and RMSA teachers, has announced that it will intensify its protest from March 2 at Solidarity Park, Kohima.
In a press release issued on Friday, the association stated that its seven-day ultimatum, two-day pen-down strike and two days of peaceful democratic protest demanding inclusion of their salary components into the State Non-Development Expenditure at the Directorate of School Education, had not yielded the desired response.
The NGTA has, therefore, decided to escalate the protest from March 2, it stated.
