DIMAPUR — The White Owl, Chümoukedima, on Thursday announced the launch of a new and improved website – www.thewhiteowl.in – featuring a unique platform that will offer exclusive access to books from Nagaland.
This marks a significant step in The White Owl’s efforts to share the voices, traditions, and literary works of the Naga people with a growing global readership, an update stated.
While The White Owl’s audience has steadily expanded beyond Nagaland, reaching across India and into international communities, The White Owl remains deeply committed to its roots.

“This website is a dedicated space where stories from Nagaland can live, travel, and inspire, no matter where the reader is,” the update stated.
“The launch of this platform marks more than just the expansion of the bookstore,” said Viketuno Rio, Director of The White Owl. “It opens a portal into a living archive of our stories and the evolving literary landscape of Nagaland.”
www.thewhiteowl.in will feature a curated catalogue of books including traditional folktales, historical narratives, children’s books, academic works, and contemporary literature by Naga authors. The platform will also enable direct orders with shipping available both within India and internationally.
“With this launch, The White Owl invites educators, cultural enthusiasts, readers, and the Naga diaspora to reconnect with and celebrate the region’s rich literary heritage,” it added.
