WOKHA — Team Metamorphosis, a Wokha-based NGO, celebrated its 20th anniversary on October 2, with a thanksgiving programme marked by reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment.
The event was chaired by T Zuchanthung Lotha, while Thungchibemo Humtsoe, HR, invoked the presence of God to bless the gathering.
Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Thungdemo Kyong, president of the organisation, recalled the humble beginnings of Team Metamorphosis. He expressed gratitude to all who have contributed to its journey over the years and emphasised the need for greater cooperation as the path ahead grows more challenging.
“The mission is far from over,” he said, calling on members to stand united for the cause.

Sharing her testimony, Achanbeni M Lotha, secretary general, described Team Metamorphosis as her “second family.” Recalling how the team stood by her family during difficult times, she committed herself to remain a lifelong member, pledging continued dedication to its vision.
Dr. N Yanpothung Ezung, core member, acknowledged the contributions of both past and present members who shaped the team’s journey. He noted the impact Team Metamorphosis has made in the community and society at large, urging members to write the next chapters of its history “not by chance but by choice.”
On the occasion, three new members, Tsenchipemo Patton, Orentsani, and Noyingi Yanthan were formally inducted into the fold, further strengthening the organisation’s foundation.
The celebration concluded with thanksgiving and a feast, marking not just two decades of growth and achievement, but also the beginning of a renewed journey ahead.
