Sansad Khel Mahotsav 2025 will begin on October 29 across Nagaland to promote youth participation and sports under Fit India Movement.

DIMAPUR — Aligned with the vision of the Fit India Movement, the Office of the Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Nagaland, in collaboration with the district administrations, will organise the Sansad Khel Mahotsav 2025 across all districts of Nagaland, commencing from October 29.
Tenyebinlo Himb, press secretary to S Phangnon Konyak, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Nagaland, informed in a press statement that the initiative reflects the MP’s commitment to encouraging youth participation and promoting sports in the state.
It was mentioned that the Sansad Khel Mahotsav aims to identify and nurture promising sporting talents at the grassroots level while encouraging wider participation in both indigenous and mainstream sports. It also seeks to instil the values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance among young people, qualities that lie at the heart of nation-building.

“The Sansad Khel Mahotsav embodies the Hon’ble MP’s vision of creating more avenues for the youth of Nagaland to shine, both within and beyond the State. He further conveyed Phangnon’s appeal to athletes and sports enthusiasts across Nagaland to participate actively with dedication, discipline, and determination and to make the most of this opportunity.
