DIMAPUR — The Philosophy department of Salesian College of Higher Education organised a one-day seminar on “Jiddu Krishnamurti: relationship without dependence”, sponsored by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research, on Thursday.

According to a press release from the college, it drew students and educators into a deep exploration of the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti, one of the most radical thinkers of the 20th century.

On the occasion, Dr. Dominic Meyieho from St Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama, delivered an insightful lecture on Krishnamurti’s rejection of psychological authority and his call for inner freedom.

The seminar aimed to unpack Krishnamurti’s ideas on human relationships, freedom, and psychological dependence. The event featured reflective sessions that encouraged participants to question conventional notions of attachment and identity.
