A two-day training programme on the revised Health Management Information System and RCH was conducted in Phek to improve health data reporting.

DIMAPUR — A two-day training on the revised Health Management Information System (HMIS) and Reproductive Child Health (RCH) for vertical programme officials, District Programme Management Unit (DPMU) staff, CHO, GNM, and ANM was held in Phek on July 6 and 7.
The training, held at the chief medical officer’s (CMO) conference hall in Phek, was facilitated by the district programme manager of national health mission and the block programme manager of Phek Sadar. The objective of the programme was to strengthen the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of health data reporting, according to a press release.
During the training, participants were explained the various HMIS reporting formats, data entry procedures, reporting timelines, and the significance of ensuring complete and error-free data.
Interactive discussions and practical demonstrations were conducted to clarify doubts and improve understanding of the HMIS reporting system. The training was also conducted in all the blocks, facilitated by the respective block BPMs.
