The Dimapur Deputy Commissioner announces a registration drive for persons with disabilities under the DREAM Nagaland initiative.

DIMAPUR — The Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur has announced a district-wide registration campaign for persons with disabilities (PwDs) under the DREAM Nagaland initiative across multiple locations in the district from March 23 to the 26th.
The drive aims to ensure an equitable, accessible, and inclusive registration process for PwDs as job seekers in employment exchanges across the district.
According to a circular issued by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, the registration camps will be conducted in various colonies and wards of Dimapur as per a scheduled plan. All village councils, ward authorities, and colony leaders have been directed to extend full support and actively disseminate information to ensure maximum participation.
A DIPR report stated that the initiative is part of the government’s effort to enhance employment opportunities and inclusion for PwDs by facilitating their registration in employment exchanges.
The eligibility criteria for registration include individuals aged between 14 and 37 years. Applicants are required to submit a disability certificate and Aadhaar card (photocopies).

The registration camps will be set up in multiple locations, including Supply colony, Fellowship colony, Nepali Basti, Forest colony, and Landmark, on March 24 from 11 am to 2 pm.
Camps will be held at Notun Basti, Riverbelt, LRC, NST colony, Middle point, and Khermahal areas on March 25 from 11 am to 2 pm. Lengrijan, IV, Razaphe, Kashirum, Indisen, Firing, and Rilan will host the camps on March 26 from 11 am to 2 pm.
Kyong colony, Sewak, Oriental, and Viola will have camps on March 24 from 11 am to 2 pm. Signal, Kevijau, Sematilla, Xuvihe, Marwaripatti, Chakhesang colony, Ghorspatti, Westyard, Thahekha, and Dhobinalla will host camps on March 25 from 11 am to 2 pm.
Bank colony, Walford, Imkonglenden, Circuit House, United colony, and Kuda will have camps on March 26 from 11 am to 2 pm.
East Dimapur, Veterinary colony, and Burma camp will hold the drive from March 24 to the 26th from 11 am to 2 pm. Deaf Biblical Seminary, Prodigals Home, and others hosted the drive on March 23 from 11 am to 2 pm.
All eligible individuals have been requested to take advantage of the opportunity and participate in the registration drive.
