Pughoboto SDPDB bids farewell to ADC Tiameren Chang

DIMAPUR — The monthly Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) Pughoboto meeting-cum-farewell programme in honour of the outgoing additional deputy commissioner (ADC) and vice chairman of SDPDB Pughoboto, Tiameren Chang, was held at the ADC’s office, Pughoboto, on Monday.


During the meeting, the members recommended the application for registration of the Sumi Anthropological Research Union and forwarded it to the concerned higher authority for approval. According to a DIPR report, the members also constituted a committee for the inter-departmental sports meet.


In his farewell address, MLA and chairman of SDPDB Pughoboto, Dr. Sukhato A Sema, lauded the outgoing ADC, Tiameren Chang, as one of the best administrators posted in the Pughoboto sub-division.

Expressing gratitude for the service rendered by the outgoing ADC for the upliftment of the people of Pughoboto, Dr. Sukhato stated that posting and transfer are part of a government employee’s journey. He wished him to return one day with a higher rank, enriched with vast experience and wisdom, to serve the people of Pughoboto.


Tiameren, in his address, thanked the people of the sub-division and government officials for their cooperation and support rendered to the district administration during his tenure. He urged them to extend the same cooperation and support to the incoming ADC.


Asserting that he had acquired immense experience working in the sub-division, Tiameren said he was leaving with good memories that he would always cherish.


EAC Yithachu Thur and PA to DC Akuto Shohe spoke on behalf of the ADC staff, while president of SAPO, Vixepu Swu, spoke on behalf of NGOs and CSOs. The members also welcomed the new ADC, Meyazungba Jamir, to the board.
