DIMAPUR — A joint team comprising officials from the Dimapur district administration, Police, Traffic, PHED, Medical, and the commanding officer along with officers of the 113 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Rajput conducted an on-ground recce on November 10 at Bhagat Stadium, Rangapahar, in preparation for the forthcoming 14-day Territorial Army Recruitment Rally scheduled from November 15.

According to a DIPR report, the recce covered the entire candidate route from TCP Gate to the rally venue, with officials meticulously reviewing arrangements for crowd regulation, traffic control, safety barriers, and directional signage.

Detailed checks were also carried out at the candidate marshalling and holding areas to ensure smooth flow of documentation, batch formation, and orderly movement into the assessment zones.

At the main rally site, teams inspected physical fitness test (PFT) lanes, physical measurement test (PMT) and medical screening areas, as well as communication setups, water points, sanitation facilities, and waste management systems.

The collective effort aimed to identify and address any last-minute gaps prior to the commencement of the event. It said that the recce reflected strong civil–military coordination and a shared commitment to conduct the region’s largest multi-state recruitment drive with complete transparency, safety, and efficiency.
