DIMAPUR — The Office of the Commanding Officer, 113 Infantry Battalion (TA) Rajput, Rangapahar Military Station, held a coordination meeting with concerned departments on the “Territorial Army Recruitment Rally” on November 6 in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner, Dimapur.


According to a DIPR report, the meeting deliberated in detail on arrangements for the upcoming rally scheduled from November 15 to December 1.


To ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the recruitment rallies, discussions covered logistics and venue, security and law and order, medical facilities, documentation and verification, transport, and sanitation.


Concerned departments were assigned specific tasks and duties according to their roles and capabilities. The departments included the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur; Commanding Officer, 113 Infantry Battalion (TA) Rajput; Chief Executive Officer, Dimapur Municipal Council; Executive Officer, East Dimapur Town Council; Executive Engineer (P), Dimapur; Executive Engineer (Road and Bridges), Dimapur; Executive Engineer, PHE, Dimapur; Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur; District Education Officer, Dimapur; District Transport Officer, Dimapur; and District Public Relations Officer, Dimapur.


During the meeting, it was highlighted that the recruitment rally is a mega event and the first of its kind in Nagaland. The rally will cover aspirants from 10 northeastern states with an expected turnout of around 15,000 candidates.


The recruitment age criteria are between 18 and 42 years, and candidates must have passed at least classes 8 to 10. To manage the turnout, specific days have been allocated to each district.


The rally will start from TCP Gate to High Mountain School ground at 5:30 am for the first batch and continue until around 8:30 to 9 am.
