- KOHIMA — The
Northern Angami Students’ Union (NASU) on Friday felicitated the HSLC and HSSLC
toppers from among its members during a programme held at Ura Academy Hall in
Kohima with the director of Technical Education, Vipulhou Lhoungu, as the
Speaker.
- Speaking on the occasion, Lhoungu, who is also the president
of Northern Angami Gazetted Officers’ Krotho (NAGOK), has congratulated the
toppers and commended NASU for honouring them. Describing their achievements as
a beginning in pursuit for goal in life, he advised the students to commit
their plans and take God as their guide to excel in works.
- Stating that there many posts in the government sectors for
those who fear God, he advised them to be prayerful, be humble and do their
part. He also cautioned against being proud of their achievements so that God
would bless them accordingly in his own ways to raise them.

- The director also urged the parents continue praying
unceasingly for the children’s future.
- In her greeting, Kedisenuo Keditsu, president Northern
Angami Women Organisation (NAWO), lauded the students on their exemplary
achievements and for making their parents and the community proud. She advised
the students to be the light and role model for others and be watchful of
things that could distract them.
- The NAWO president encouraged the students to work harder
with vision and fear God in order to excel in life. She further challenged the
students to be a driving force to inspire change and give back to the society.
- Speech on behalf of toppers was delivered by Keluosenuo
Suokhrie, HSLC Top-4.
- On the occasion, a total of ten toppers were felicitated.
