Norman Putsure College and Immanuel College host graduation ceremonies to honour their Class of 2026.
DIMAPUR — Norman Putsure College and Immanuel College hosted graduation ceremonies to celebrate the achievements of their graduating classes of 2026.
Norman Putsure College, Chümoukedima, held its graduation programme on August 22 at the college auditorium.

According to an update, Director of Vocational Studies at International University, Nagaland, Dr. Zavise Rume attended as the chief guest. In his address, he highlighted the significance of education, perseverance, and responsibility.
Convener of the Graduation Committee, Vizono Khesoh, conducted the presentation of awards and certificates.

Immanuel College celebrated its graduation ceremony for the batch of 2026 on August 21 at the college auditorium, honouring 189 graduates.
Director of Pro Rural, Paul Lokho, attended the occasion as the commencement speaker.

In his speech, he highlighted the importance of the power of postponement and sacrifice for success. He spoke on the importance of patience, self-discipline, and the willingness to make sacrifices in the present in order to achieve long-term success.
The speaker also highlighted four major career pathways available to graduates: the government sector, the corporate sector, non-profit organisations, and self-employment and entrepreneurship.
He further spoke on the qualities needed for excellence, pointing out the importance of deep learning. He urged the graduates to pursue excellence by developing a habit of deep learning and thorough preparation.
Felicitation of nine university toppers from various departments, felicitation of teachers, and presentation of graduation certificates were among the highlights of the event.
