Nikali K Shohe from Nagaland will represent the state at Femina Miss India 2026 in Bhubaneswar, marking a key milestone in her pageant journey.

DIMAPUR — Nikali K Shohe, a 22-year-old from Philimi village, now settled in Akuhaito town, will represent Nagaland at the Femina Miss India 2026, scheduled to be held on April 18 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
According to a release issued by the Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN), Shohe has earlier secured titles including Miss Northeast 2026 (1st Runner-Up), Miss Nagaland 2024 (1st Runner-Up), and Miss Sumi 2024.
Sharing her experience at the national pageant, she said, “My experience at FMI so far has been truly amazing. I’m learning something new every single day, and stepping out of my comfort zone has been the most transformative part of this journey.”

She added that representing the state continues to motivate her to improve, stating that each day of the competition has been a learning process.
Speaking about her journey, Shohe said, “This journey is about becoming the best version of myself while honouring where I come from. I carry my roots, my identity, and my people with pride, and I am determined to represent my state with strength and give my very best till the end.”

In a message to the people of Nagaland, she said, “We are known for our quiet strength and pure hearts. No matter the labels, the judgments, or the stereotypes we face, let us remain true to who we are.”
The release also stated that Shohe aspires to become a Drug Control Officer.
