NPF to host seminar on April 28
DIMAPUR — The Naga People’s Front (NPF) will organise a one-day seminar on 'Insight on government department activities and constructive role of the party leaders’ on April 28 at 10 am at the party’s conference hall, Central HQ, Kohima. In an update the NPF stated that the resource persons include Mhathung Yanthan, Advisor, Agriculture; KT Sukhalu, Advisor, Food & Civil Supply and Legal Metrology; G Ikuto Zhimomi, Advisor, Land Resources; and Metsubo Jamir, Minister for Rural Development and SIRD. Achumbemo Kikon, MLA and Secretary General, NPF, will present the introductory note. The invited participants are the party’s Central Women Wing, Central Farmer’s Wing, Central Youth Wing with 50 members, convenor of Central Minority Wing & Cells, all COB division in-charge & assistant in-charge, and all division presidents.
Mt. TTC holds 49th commissioning
DIMAPUR — Mt. Terogvu Theological College (TTC) celebrated its 49th commissioning service and convocation ceremony on April 16 and the 17th on the theme “God's enduring faithfulness.” Gwanilo Khing, Pastor of RBC, Sovima, was the guest speaker. Thirteen students graduated with ATA-accredited degrees, while nine were conferred Master of Divinity and four conferred Bachelor of Theology. The ceremony was attended by church leaders, parents, sponsors and well-wishers, and the programme concluded with a graduation feast, an update stated.
NNC/FGN mourns G Kath’s demise
DIMAPUR — The NNC/FGN has condoled the demise of Gholomo Kath, “a committed national worker,” who passed away on April 26. In a condolence message, the FGN Rengma Region, stated that Kath was first appointed on August 3, 2020, and served as Khapur and was later entrusted with the responsibilities of Razou Peyu and Leacy member. “We pray that the Almighty grants strength and comfort to the grieving family and eternal peace to the departed soul,” the message read.
