The Ao Kaketshir Telongjem inaugurated its newly constructed room at Kohima Science College Jotsoma, dedicated by Principal Dr. Temjenwapang.

DIMAPUR — The newly constructed room of the Ao Kaketshir Telongjem (AKT) at Kohima Science College (Autonomous), Jotsoma, was formally inaugurated on August 20.
According to an update, the construction of this facility was undertaken in accordance with the resolution adopted during the golden jubilee celebration (1974–2024) held on November 23, 2024.
The inauguration was attended by Dr. Temjenwapang, principal, Kohima Science College (Autonomous), Jotsoma, who formally dedicated the room.
It was stated that the successful completion of the project was made possible through the contributions of AKT, Ao faculty members, Ao alumni, in-laws, and well-wishers.

The construction work commenced on May 6 and was completed on August 16.
During the programme, N Meren Ao, convenor of the Construction Committee and associate professor, Department of Chemistry, Kohima Science College, conveyed gratitude to all contributors and well-wishers for their support and cooperation in realising this initiative.
