Nagaland Taekwondo team bagged 11 medals, including 5 golds, at the International Open Kukkiwon Cup 2025 held in Delhi.

DIAMPUR — The Nagaland Taekwondo Association (NTA) participated in the International Open Kukkiwon Cup 2025 held in Delhi, India, from October 9 to the 12th.
According to an update, a total of 16 players represented the state, led by coach Santsuthung Ngullie and team manager Ram Bahadur.
The Nagaland team secured an impressive tally of 11 medals—5 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze.
In the Kyorugi Fresher category, the medal winners were:
Andrew N Lotha – Gold medal in under 45 kg
Randanbemo Z Kikon – Gold medal in under 49 kg
Thungben Lotha – Gold medal in under 57 kg
Jongibemo L Ngullie – Silver medal in under 33 kg
Solan C Ngullie – Bronze medal in under 22 kg
Lalmalson Doungel – Bronze medal in under 20 kg
Wonchibemo R Ngullie – Bronze medal in under 41 kg

Nagaland Archery Association conducts state selection trials
In the Kyorugi Regular category, the medal winners were:
Lakhan Chetri – Gold medal in cadet under 33 kg
Nikhal Bosfor – Silver medal in junior under 45 kg
Antimonyu Chang – Silver medal in senior girls under 67 kg
In the Poomsae Regular category, Sanjay Chetri won the gold medal in the under 40 years category.
The association expressed gratitude to all affiliated district associations, the Director of Youth Resources and Sports, and the president of NTA for providing the platform to participate in the international event.
