Nagaland Technical Education Directorate has made 100% Aadhaar seeding mandatory for State Technical Scholarship applicants, with online applications open from October 1 to December 31, 2026.
DIMAPUR — The Directorate of Technical Education has informed the student community that 100% Aadhaar seeding with beneficiaries’ bank accounts has been made mandatory for all eligible applicants for the State Technical Scholarship following the introduction of Aadhaar Payment Bridge (APB) under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
According to the department, students belonging to the Scheduled Tribes of Nagaland who are pursuing diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate courses in engineering within India, recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Council of Architecture, are eligible to apply. The scholarship is open to both fresh and renewal applicants.
The department stated that the online scholarship portal will remain open from October 1 to December 31, 2026.

After completing the online application, applicants are required to submit a hard copy of the application to the Department of Technical Education on or before January 22, 2027.
The department stated that no applications will be accepted after the deadline.
