Dimapur records 28,581 uncollected Enumeration Forms, the highest in Nagaland, while its SIR digitisation rate remains lowest
DIMAPUR — Dimapur has recorded the highest number of uncollected Enumeration Forms in Nagaland’s ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, even as the state has digitised 78.71% of the forms distributed so far.
According to a status report issued by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, as of 6 pm on September 6, a total of 1,355,970 Enumeration Forms had been distributed against an electorate of 1,357,208, covering 99.91% of voters. Of these, 1,068,281 forms had been digitised.
Across the state, 82,918 forms, or 6.11%, were listed as uncollected.
Dimapur accounted for the largest share, with 28,581 uncollected forms, or 22.74% of the district’s electorate. Chümoukedima followed with 13,173 forms, while Kohima had 11,903.
Dimapur also had the lowest digitisation rate among the districts at 68.98%. Pughoboto topped the list with 95.34%, followed by Kiphire at 93.18%.
The report also showed that only 946 Enumeration Forms had been submitted online by electors.
