Nagaland Joint Christian Forum to hold Kohima prayer rally on September 12, focusing on FCRA and freedom of conscience concerns
DIMAPUR — Churches and Christian organisations in Kohima have been invited to a prayer rally on September 12 to voice concerns over issues surrounding the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) and freedom of conscience.
The Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF) has scheduled the rally for 11 am at Khuociezie (local ground), Kohima, according to an appeal circulated on Tuesday.
The forum has called on churches, pastors, leaders and believers to participate in the rally and urged those unable to attend to uphold the event and the issues being raised in their personal and congregational prayers.
The rally, it stated, is intended to “prayerfully address” challenges faced by the Christian community in the country, particularly those related to the FCRA and freedom of conscience in connection with Vande Mataram.
