The Creators for Community Initiative under the Nagaland Influencers Summit 2026 concludes its outreach in Tuensang and Noklak.

DIMAPUR — The organising committee of the Nagaland Influencers Summit (NIS) 2026, in collaboration with Synergy Group and Skills & Co., has announced the culmination of its month-long flagship social impact programme, the Creators for Community Initiative.
Operating under the summit’s core theme, "Beyond influence: Creating change together", the campaign brought together content creators, artists, musicians, gamers, entrepreneurs, and youth volunteers to convert digital reach into direct, ground-level civic action across four focus districts: Kohima, Mon, Tuensang, and Noklak.
While earlier phases of the initiative addressed civic cleanliness in Kohima and emergency disaster response in landslide-affected areas of Mon, the campaign’s final phase directed deep community outreach, youth mentorship, and educational support toward eastern Nagaland.
In Tuensang, the outreach was led by Tovika Zhimomi, winner of the NIS 2025 People's Choice Award. The effort was powered by a large-scale grassroots crowdfunding drive held on August 14 at the V2 Mall City Tower junction.
Supported by BTH with tents and essential ground equipment, alongside sound, lighting, and stage logistics provided by the Mean Machines team, an ensemble of local musicians, dancers, comedians, and creative talents performed live to engage the public and raise community funds.

The visiting delegation travelled to Tuensang to support two care facilities: Bethel Children’s Home, housing over 18 girls, and Kohdi Children’s Home, housing over 20 children.
The team distributed equipment and essential items evenly between both facilities, including two desktop computers, two acoustic guitars, two heavy-duty water heaters, comprehensive stationery sets, art materials, clothing, and sports equipment such as footballs, badminton sets, and volleyballs.
Beyond material distribution, the team conducted interactive art workshops, music training, games, and fellowship sessions. With a strong representation of female creators in the visiting group, dedicated women empowerment and mentorship sessions were also conducted specifically for the residents of Bethel Children's Home.
Simultaneously in Noklak, the empowerment drive was led by Akavi Chophy, who mobilised support through targeted online digital campaigns and direct community outreach.

The team secured stationery, learning materials, and direct monetary contributions used to cover tuition fees and educational expenses for local children. The initiative delivered 16 containers of essential supplies containing toys, daily necessities, and learning kits, alongside classroom study tables and chairs to support the Creative Children’s Friendship Centre.
The centre, founded by former Miss Nagaland Vikuonuo Sachü under the Miraculum Society, provides free daily after-school education and mentorship to 200 local children.
During the visit, the delegation also convened an interactive session with Brigadier HS Mavi of the 22 Assam Rifles and leadership from the Noklak Students’ Union to discuss long-term youth capacity building in the district.
The completion of the drives in Tuensang and Noklak marks the conclusion of a comprehensive four-district movement.
The campaign launched on August 8 in Kohima, where over 100 creators and volunteers cleared major marketplace stretches and transit corridors, handing over more than 50 bags of segregated litter to municipal authorities while gathering initial street contributions.
Following severe rainfall-triggered landslides across the Mon district, the initiative launched an emergency disaster response on August 11. Through the #150ForMon micro-donation campaign, street drives, livestreams, and contributions from the Nagaland Mobile Legends: Bang Bang gaming community, the campaign raised INR 7.5 lakh.
The fund delivered direct financial rehabilitation to 144 affected families and provided essential support to elderly care facilities across Mon Town, Tizit, Naginimora, and Tiru.
The organising committee highlighted that the Creators for Community Initiative has successfully demonstrated how digital visibility can be translated into responsible, real-world leadership and community service.
With the statewide social impact campaign officially concluded, full focus transitions to the main summit event scheduled for September 11 at Tetso College and the Concert Night at Agri Expo, leading up to the grand NIS 2026 Gala Night and Awards Ceremony on September 12 at Agri Expo, Chümoukedima.
