DIMAPUR — Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav on Sunday called on the youth to embrace innovation, entrepreneurship and responsible leadership while urging people of all communities to strengthen unity and work collectively for the state's progress.
Addressing the Youth Conclave-cum-Cultural Fest 2026 organised by the Linguistic Minority Forum of Nagaland (LMFN) at Town Hall, Dimapur, the governor said the youth are the custodians of Nagaland's heritage and the architects of its future.
Yadav encouraged them to equip themselves with knowledge, skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, urging them not only to seek opportunities but also to create them for the benefit of society.
According to a Lok Bhavan press release, the governor stressed that identity should be a force that unites rather than divides.
Calling for empathy, innovation and mutual respect among all communities, he said the progress of Dimapur and Nagaland depends on the collective efforts of all citizens, irrespective of language or community.
