More than 6,000 government officials will be engaged in the conduct of Census 2027 in Nagaland. The census will be carried out in two phases.
The first phase, the house-listing operations, will provide citizens an opportunity to enumerate their households through the online self-enumeration facility from June 16 to the 30th.
This will be followed by verification of the self-enumerated data and enumeration of households that could not complete self-enumeration by census enumerators and supervisors.
The second phase, scheduled for February 2027, will involve population enumeration, during which population data will be collected across the state.
The Directorate of Census Operations, Nagaland, appealed to all citizens to actively participate and extend their full cooperation in ensuring the successful conduct of Census 2027.
