District administrations in Mon host consultation workshop on Viksit Nagaland @2047 to prepare strategic developmental roadmaps.

DIMAPUR — The Government of Nagaland and Mon District Administration organised a District Consultation Workshop on Viksit Nagaland @2047 with Heads of Officers and stakeholders of Mon district on at DC’s Conference Hall, Mon, on Monday.
An update from DIPR informed that sector experts from the Nagaland Institute of Transformation under the Planning & Transformation Department – Nyanthung Y Humtseo, Badikol Varsha Prabhakar and Shweta Yayant Shinde – moderated the workshop.
A total of five thematic groups – Economic Development, Social Development, Environmental Sustainability, Infrastructure Development, Governance and Institutional Strengthening – were constituted for effective coordination among the departments on priority themes and to prepare comprehensive presentations, said the update.

Speaking at the workshop, Pakon Phom, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Mon, highlighted that the government of India had launched Viksit Bharat with a vision to transform the nation into a developed, prosperous country by 2047, marking 100 years of independence.
“It aims for comprehensive growth across economic, social, environmental, and governance sectors, focusing on high quality of life, infrastructure, and sustainability,” he said, while urging the members to actively participate, learn, and work for the development of the nation.
