Mokokchung College of Teacher Education holds 14th induction programme for freshers.

DIMAPUR — Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) conducted its 14th induction programme for freshers on Tuesday.
The programme, chaired by Sayangpong Pongen, began with an invocation by Yashimongla, followed by a welcome speech by Neimou, representing the third semester student-teachers. Neimou emphasised the importance of collaborative learning, and wished the best to the newcomers.
This was followed by introductory session of the freshers, an update stated.
Lentilong Jamir, representing the first-semester student-teachers, expressed gratitude to God, thanked the faculty and seniors for the warm welcome, and looked forward to his journey at MCTE.

Dr. K Rijingkhum Yimchunger, Assistant Professor at MCTE, delivered an exhortation, emphasising unity and mutual support, and encouraged freshers to explore their potential without limitations.
The first session ended with a thanksgiving prayer by P Tumong Khiamniungan, paving the way for the second session, which featured captivating performances by third semester-students.
