Model Christian College Kohima felicitates university toppers

DIMAPUR — Model Christian College, Kohima, felicitated two of its students who secured top ranks in the recently declared undergraduate results of Nagaland University during a brief ceremony held at the college auditorium on Wednesday.

An update from the college stated that Tsuktimenla Chang, a B.Sc. student from the Geology Department, secured 1st rank with a CGPA of 9.19, while Walunir Jamir, a BA student from Political Science, secured 9th rank with a CGPA of 8.85.

It stated that both students were presented with certificates of excellence and awarded a cash prize of INR 10,000 each in recognition of their outstanding performance.

It added that the Women’s Cell of the college also awarded Tsuktimenla Chang a cash prize for scoring the highest CGPA among the female students.

Speaking on the occasion, the college’s principal congratulated the toppers for their dedication and consistent effort, stating that their success reflected the college’s commitment to academic excellence.

The report further stated that faculty members of both departments were acknowledged with cash awards for their invaluable contribution towards the students and the institution at large.
