The Kohima Traders Association has been restructured as the Traders Grievances Cell under the KCCI.
DIMAPUR — The Kohima Traders Association (KTA) has been restructured and renamed as the "Traders Grievances Cell" to function under the aegis of the Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) as the apex body.
This resolution was adopted during a joint consultative meeting convened between the Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO), the KCCI, and the KTA on July 24 at the KVYO office in Ziekezou, Kohima, according to a press release.
The meeting was held to streamline trade administration and foster unity within the business fraternity of the state capital. During the meeting, deliberate discussions were held regarding organisational structures, coordination, and the collective welfare of the business community in Kohima.

The house decided that the restructured entity, Traders Grievances Cell, will henceforth function under the banner and aegis of the KCCI. The cell will continue its mandates and activities dedicated to safeguarding the rights, addressing grievances, and promoting the overall welfare of traders operating within Kohima under the guidance and leadership of the KCCI.
All parties involved expressed confidence that this reorganisation will foster greater harmony, streamline coordination between local youth bodies and business associations, and establish a more robust framework for socio-economic growth in the region.
