DIMAPUR — The Economics department of Kohima Science College (A), Jotsoma (KSCJ), in collaboration with the Forum of Free Enterprise, Mumbai, organised the 59th AD Shroff memorial elocution competition on Friday.
An update from the college stated that the AD Shroff memorial lecture was delivered by Dr. Chubakumzuk Jamir, head of Economics department.
It stated that the participants had the opportunity to speak on any of the three thought-provoking themes namely ‘Making India a global manufacturing hub,’ ‘Job creators Vs job seekers is the need of the hour’ and ‘Are our education and skills aligned with corporate demand?’

The first prize was won by Shoijei Konyak of B.Sc semester I, while the second and third prizes were won by Sungtipen Imchen of (B.Sc semester I and Elozini Jacinta Maheo of BA semester I respectively.
It further stated that the college’s principal, Dr. Temjenwabang, gave away the prizes to the winners of the competition, which consisted of cash award and a certificate sponsored by the Forum of Free Enterprise, Mumbai.
