DIMAPUR — The staff and cadets of Sainik School Punglwa (SSP) recently made a goodwill visit under the banner ‘Share and Care’ to an old age home in Ngwalwa in Peren district and distributed essential items, which were bought through the generous contribution of the cadets and the staff.


An update from the school stated that the team interacted with the residents of old age home and shared their joys and anxieties.

The team consisted of the school’s principal, Col (Dr) Smita Misra, and the vice principal, Lt. Col. Amit Chaudhary, along with staff and students.


It stated that the occasion was also an enriching experience for the young cadets as the visit made them realise the need of love and respect for the old and to extend a helping hand to the needy in the society.
