KOHIMA — Asserting that many church leaders are serving without a burden for soul-winning, Rev. Dr. Zotuo Kiewhuo, Principal of Kohima Bible College (KBC) and founder and Senior Pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church, has called for a Christ-centred ministry focused on saving souls.
Speaking as the speaker at the 52nd Graduation Day of Kohima Bible College held at the NBCC Convention Centre in Kohima on Tuesday, Rev. Dr. Kiewhuo warned that many church leaders are engaged in ministry for riches and lack a burden for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The speaker highlighted the importance of prayer and interceding for others and encouraged believers to keep their focus on Jesus Christ and be willing to suffer for Him. Furthermore, Rev. Dr. Kiewhuo exhorted the graduates to uphold and practise preaching, healing, and deliverance as disciples of Christ.
Speaking on behalf of the graduating class, Khamkai Arolim, a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) graduate, shared the experiences of the students during their years at KBC, urging his fellow graduates to live, preach, and die for the Gospel.
A total of 52 students graduated this year, comprising 22 Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and 30 B.Th. graduates.
