Kitsubozou Panchayat marked its 55th foundation day in Kohima with celebrations, felicitation and community unity messages.

DIMAPUR — The Kitsubozou Panchayat observed its 55th Panchayat Day on Thursday at the New Kitsubozou Panchayat Hall, Kohima.
Exhorting the gathering, Dzieseneilie Sachü, chairman of Kitsubozou Panchayat, said that while developmental activities are important, oneness and understanding remain vital in maintaining a peaceful and cohesive environment, according to an update.
He expressed hope that residents of the colony would continue to extend their support and cooperation to the Panchayat and frontal bodies for the general welfare and unity of the colony.
Sachü lauded the support of the Panchayat executives as well as the women and youth bodies and sought their continued cooperation towards uplifting the colony.

Vimhalie Pienyü, councillor of the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) Ward 5, Kitsubozou, praised the past and present leaders of the Panchayat for their sacrificial contributions towards the denizens of the colony. He also conveyed his appreciation to the people of Ward 5 for supporting him as their councillor and assured them he would extend all possible support towards the uplift of the colony.
The occasion also featured the felicitation of Keneinguzo Sekhose (NCS, NPSC), Vikuokhono Lhousa (CTSE, NSSB), and Talisenla (CGS, UPSC), all members from the colony, in recognition of their success in various competitive examinations.
The audit committee presented the audit report, while the secretary’s report was shared by Atoulie Mechülho.
