Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav visited the Good Samaritan Senior Citizen’s Home in Meriema to interact with residents.
DIMAPUR — Governor of Nagaland Nand Kishore Yadav visited the Good Samaritan Senior Citizen’s Home at Meriema, Kohima, on Wednesday.
During the visit, the Governor spent time with the senior citizens residing at the home.
According to an update, the visit reflected his concern for the welfare and dignity of senior citizens and the importance of providing care, companionship, and a supportive environment for the elderly. He also contributed essential provisions to the home as a gesture of care and support towards the welfare and well-being of the residents.
The chairperson of the Good Samaritan Women Society, Neithonuo Liegise, shared the brief history of the project and presented the future vision and plans for the Old Age Home to the governor.
The governor acknowledged and took note of the vision and aspirations of the society for the further development of the home. The visit was marked by an interaction between the governor and the residents of the home.
