DIMAPUR — Special Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Dr. Sajjan Singh Yadav, on the second day of his tour to Nagaland, visited several key project sites in Kohima on Tuesday.
During his visit, the Special Secretary inspected projects implemented under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme at High Court, Meriema; Working Women’s Hostel at Kigwema; and Main Arena at Kisama Heritage Village, which is partly funded under SASCI.
Yadav also visited the historic Kohima War Cemetery, according to a DIPR report.
He was accompanied by Finance Commissioner and Commissioner & Secretary to the Chief Minister, Kesonyü Yhome, along with senior officials from the Finance Department and other project-implementing departments.

Earlier, on April 27, Yadav attended a dinner and interaction programme at Hotel Vivor, where he expressed gratitude and nostalgia, marking his second visit to Nagaland after nearly three decades.
He appreciated a cultural performance by the Ülikhrei Folk Group, which he said brought back memories of his tenure as deputy commissioner in Arunachal Pradesh.
