DIMAPUR — Continuing its standoff with the department of School Education, the Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has directed its federating units to enforce sweeping shutdown measures as part of its third phase of agitation beginning September 18.

According to the federation’s directive, all government offices, including administrative offices, will be sealed.

In addition, all educational institutions—both government and private—are to be shut down. Restriction on movement of government-registered vehicles will continue to be in force.

The ENSF stated that the agitation will remain in force until further notice and instructed federating units to implement the measures strictly without compromise.
