Eastern Naga Students' Association condemns a drone strike on a civilian home in Langkho village, Myanmar, that left two children injured.
DIMAPUR — The Eastern Naga Students' Association (ENSA) has strongly condemned a reported drone strike on a civilian residence in Langkho village, Myanmar, which left two children injured on October 3.
The attack reportedly occurred at around 12:04 am while women and children were inside the residence, with no underground shelter occupied at the time. A minor girl and her elder brother were injured. The residence and its belongings were also reportedly destroyed in the attack.
In a statement, ENSA expressed deep concern over the use of force in circumstances that place innocent civilians, particularly women and children, at grave risk. The association stated that such incidents are deeply alarming and must not be allowed to become normalised.

Calling for an immediate and impartial investigation into the incident, ENSA urged all concerned authorities to take every necessary measure to protect civilians and uphold their fundamental rights and safety.
The association stood in solidarity with the affected family and the people of Langkho village, wishing the injured victims a speedy and full recovery. ENSA stated that civilian lives are not collateral, adding that every innocent life matters and the protection of civilians must remain paramount.
