The East Dimapur Town Council has reminded residents to clear outstanding sanitation dues or face suspension of waste collection services.
DIMAPUR — The East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) has notified all residents under its jurisdiction that several wards have failed to clear their pending residential sanitation fees despite repeated reminders and the continued provision of services.
The council stated that while sanitation services are being rendered regularly, many residents have neglected their civic responsibility of paying the prescribed sanitation fees. It noted that such negligence adversely affects the local body's ability to maintain and sustain essential public sanitation services.
Therefore, all residents with outstanding residential sanitation fee dues have been directed to clear their pending payments immediately.

DEO Peren announces Special Intensive Revision
Failure to do so within the stipulated period will compel the East Dimapur Town Council to cease and withhold sanitation services from the defaulting households or wards without any further notice. The council stated that it will not be held responsible for any inconvenience arising from the suspension of services due to non-payment of dues.
All concerned have been advised to treat the notice with utmost seriousness and ensure timely payment of their outstanding dues in the larger interest of public health and cleanliness.
