The Diocese of Kohima observes NCYM Sunday with prayer services and outreach activities in Khuzama.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Catholic Youth Movement, Diocese of Kohima, observed NCYM Sunday on September 13 with prayer, fellowship, and various youth-centred activities across parishes and centres of the diocese.
Observed annually on the second Sunday of September in accordance with Article 6 of the NCYM Constitution, the day is dedicated to celebrating young people and encouraging their active participation in the life and mission of the church.
According to an update, youths from parishes and centres across the diocese gathered for holy masses, prayers, fellowship, and community activities, renewing their commitment to their faith and church service.
As part of the observance, NCYM office bearers visited Eden Gardens Children's Home in Khuzama, where age-specific development sessions were conducted. For students of classes 1 to 5, a session on "Living a successful christian life" was held to encourage Christian values.
Students of classes 6 to 8 participated in a session on "Spirituality and career options", while a mental health session focusing on emotional well-being and adolescent care was conducted for students of classes 9 and 10.
The sessions were accompanied by interactive activities and games for the children.
