Dimapur Forest Division and 90.8 Hills FM sign a six-month MoU to boost forest and wildlife conservation awareness.

DIMAPUR — The Dimapur Forest Division and community radio station 90.8 Hills FM have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to continue their collaborative efforts in public awareness and communication on forests, wildlife, and environmental conservation.
According to an update, the MoU was signed on Thursday at the office of the Dimapur Forest Division, marking the beginning of a renewed six-month partnership from August 2026 to January 2027.
Through the partnership, 90.8 Hills FM and the Dimapur Forest Division will work together to strengthen public communication around forest and wildlife conservation, biodiversity, environmental awareness, and other relevant initiatives of the forest division. The collaboration will use community radio and digital communication to share information and conservation messages with the wider community.

The renewed partnership builds on previous collaboration between the two organisations, with both sides continuing to explore ways of bringing forest and environmental issues closer to the public through accessible communication.
The MoU signing was attended by representatives of the Dimapur Forest Division and 90.8 Hills FM. Known as "The Voice of Change", 90.8 Hills FM is Nagaland's first community radio station, using radio and digital platforms to inform, engage, and connect communities on issues of public interest.
