Nand Kishore Yadav visited NIELIT Kohima and launched startups Kora and Zodmo Technologies, highlighting youth entrepreneurship, technology and innovation.

DIMAPUR — Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav visited the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Kohima, on Thursday and reviewed its infrastructure, activities and initiatives.
During the visit, Yadav toured various infrastructure facilities at the Academic Block, according to a press release issued by the PRO, Lok Bhavan, Kohima.
The governor also visited the Cyber Forensic R&D Lab, where he familiarised himself with the facilities and activities being undertaken at the centre.
Yadav launched two emerging startups, Kora and Zodmo Technologies Private Limited, highlighting the growing spirit of entrepreneurship, technology and innovation among the youth of Nagaland.
The launch underscored the potential of home-grown startups to develop technology-driven solutions to address local needs while creating new opportunities in the digital economy.

Zodmo Technologies has developed a locally focused online marketplace that enables users to buy, sell, rent and discover a wide range of goods and services within Nagaland.
Interacting with representatives of the emerging ventures, the governor emphasised the importance of encouraging young entrepreneurs and innovators to harness technology for inclusive growth and fostering a supportive ecosystem for startups and digital enterprises in the state.
Yadav was subsequently briefed on the various activities and initiatives of NIELIT Kohima.
The visit provided an opportunity for the governor to understand the institute’s role in promoting digital skills, technology, innovation and capacity building in Nagaland.
