Chiephobozou sub-divisional departmental heads of offices met to discuss staff attendance, monsoon preparedness, and local issues.

DIMAPUR — The monthly sub-divisional departmental head of offices coordination meeting was held in the ADC office chamber, Chiephobozou, on June 24.
According to a DIPR report, ADC Chiephobozou Vekusheyi Rhakho, who chaired the meeting, highlighted the need to improve staff attendance and requested all departments under the sub-division to ensure offices remain open to redress public grievances and perform duties efficiently.
The ADC expressed appreciation to all heads of offices for their cooperation and active participation in the successful observance of World Environment Day through cleanliness drives and tree plantation activities. He thanked the Forest department for making timely arrangements for the supply of saplings.
He requested all departments to continually carry out such initiatives, both within and outside their respective offices, as a collective commitment towards maintaining a clean and green environment. He also reminded all departments to submit their departmental activities report before the end of the month.

The ADC discussed monsoon preparedness with the members and requested the Sub-Divisional Officer (Roads and Bridges) of Chiephobozou to clear the Tsiesema landslide that occurred on the National Highway, install a reflector at the High Court bypass road, and install speed breakers at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Junction in Chiechama.
Solid Waste Management Rules 2026 and Census enumeration at respective posting places were also discussed during the meeting.
